When and where you find whitewater, paddlers will be there, summer, winter, spring and fall. These images show that Falls of the Neuse is an attractive location for local paddlers when releases are right to produce whitewater features.

The Falls Whitewater Park will create these features at much lower release volumes, insuring more consistent paddling conditions and insuring a more reliable draw for paddlers from a wider geographic range. It’s easy to see that paddle-days become a social event for boaters and spectators alike.
